Rome (NEV), November 30, 2019 – The Adventist Faculty of Theology and the Pentecostal Faculty of Religious Sciences signed a convention to offer a more complete training for students. “This is an unprecedented synergy between two institutions that represent different ecclesial bodies with their own history and way in Italy”, declared Davide Romano, director of the Adventist Institute of Biblical Culture in Florence, through the Adventist News site.
The convention offers students of the Pentecostal Faculty the possibility to complete their
training course by validating their curriculum at the new master’s degree program in “Peace, Religions, Multiculturalism”. The program, established at the Adventist Faculty and open to all students with a bachelor’s degree, also includes distance learning courses.
The agreement, which will be valid for four years, was signed last November 13 in Florence. It represents “an appreciated opportunity for collaboration between two important expressions of the Italian evangelism”, as reported by the Adventist agency.
Satisfaction was expressed by Carmine Napolitano, dean of the Pentecostal Faculty of Religious Sciences and President of the Federation of Pentecostal churches (FCP), and by Stefano Paris, president of the Italian Union of Adventist churches (UICCA).
