Rome (NEV), March 13, 2021 – Emanuele Caso, aka Random, is the young evangelical musician who in recent days was treading the stage of the most important singing festival in Italy: the Sanremo festival. “The name ‘Random’ – said the artist to the Dire news agency – comes from the assonance and translation of my surname, Caso”. Random (ie casual) is also a possible selection mode to listen to a play list on music playback devices, such as CD players, digital players, leaving to “chance” to decide which song to listen to.
Emanuele Caso (Random), as reported by the music magazine Rockit.it which traces his biography, “was born in the province of Naples, precisely in Massa di Somma, on April 26, 2001. He moved with his family to Riccione when he was only two years. His family is very religious, and his parents are evangelical pastors; precisely for this reason God is still a fixed point for him today. Emanuele began to be passionate about music, thanks to his father who always brought home different instruments, since he was a little boy. The first instrument were the drums and then he also put his hands on the bass, on the guitar and then on the piano”.
At school he approached the world of rap and freestyle, to then write real lyrics dedicated to the school world and focused on his daily life.
Thanks to the meeting with the music producer Zenit, and after a great success of a video on YouTube, he published his first work, “Giovane Oro”. Competitor of the talent Amici Speciali 2020, this year he participated in the Sanremo 2021 Festival in the Big section with the song “Torno a te” (I come back to you).
“Music is a gift from the Lord – Random told Sky News 24 – . One day my father brought home the drums and seeing him play I became passionate. It all started in that moment”. “My mum – the rapper later declared to the daily Il Mattino of Naples – has always been very religious and she also converted my father who played bass and guitar in the church. Sounds and faith have become one. Then, they gave me my first drums and so I started playing during the services too. Thanks to my dad and thanks to God ”.
